Welcome to Griz's Place!

You know what bugs me on the internet? Web pages where the main page has all this stuff about Welcome To My New Web Site and a date of four years ago. You know what else bugs me? People that drone on about what bugs them on the 'net...ah, right, moving on...

So, I'm not going to do that. This page of Griz's Place will tell you everything you need to know about this place on your first visit. Of course, you can come back here to refresh your memory if you forget where something is, but, let's face it, I did this myself, how complicated could it really be?

So, first, Welcome to My New Web Site! I had to say it. I'm writing this on 4/19/2008 and that's hopefully going to be a ways in the past when you read this. If you don't get why that amuses me, you might run to a dictionary and look up irony. Or you could just click that link, it's easier.

And that will be item number one on the agenda: if you don't enjoy irony, hyperbole, sarcasm, biting wit, or gallows humor, you might find this site a bit..difficult for you. Please take my humor the way it's intended: as a poke at people who take themselves too seriously, most of all ME! This site will contain a certain amount of off-color material, things that I wouldn't have wanted my kids to be looking at before they became old and jaded like me. I'm going to say this in the nicest possible way because you are a special flower and important to me, but if you find yourself offended by anything you see on this site, I really don't want to know about it. Please, for both our sakes, if you can't stand it, just move on. Really, it's me, it's not you.

Oh, and hi, Randy! I know you'll be the first one here. Why you keep bothering to look I'll never know, but at least now there's something here! [Griz's note: Randy found this the day after I posted it. Dude, use that spidey sense in the stock market or something!]
